White spots

The Stalinist purges left many white dots. People disappeared and those who stayed alive, buried them under a veil of silence. One of them is Herbert Breth-Mildner, who has worked with Hans Eisler and Ernst Busch in Berlin of the late twenties and with I.W. Mitschurin in Russia, where he disappeared in 1938.
I searched for traces at the places of his life (thanks to archives in Berlin, Viena and Prag). Old and new photographes document the remainders as well as trying to capture the mood of his time.
